10th Annual Santa Store Needs Your Help For Texarkana Families in Crisis
Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. is getting ready for their 10th Annual Santa Store. This is such a great program in Texarkana that allows parents to pick out Christmas gifts for their children at no cost and in a safe environment.
Each year, DVP transforms a secure location into a holiday shop filled with brand-new, unwrapped toys, teen gifts, and more, ensuring these families in crisis can still experience the joy of Christmas morning.
Community Support Needed to Make Christmas Brighter
To make this year’s Santa Store possible, DVP is asking for our help by donating toys, teen items, or monetary donations.

Executive Director James Roberts said in a press release, the program provides far more than presents.
The Santa Store is a chance for a family to have, at the very least, one good day out of the year. It gives parents the dignity of choosing the gifts their children truly want. For many, it’s choosing between keeping the electricity on or trying to make Christmas happen. The Santa Store is the very essence of what Christmas should be.
Here's How to Help Texarkana's Domestic Violence Prevention Santa Store
Texarkana's DVP is hoping to serve 200–250 children this year and aims to collect $30,000 in toys and monetary donations.
If you would like to help they are looking for items like bicycles, skateboards, ride-on toys, craft kits, art supplies, portable chargers, Bluetooth speakers, hair accessories, lava lamps, cologne and body wash sets, headphones, wallets, and popular kids’ items like Paw Patrol and PJ Masks.
Donations can be dropped off at 424 Spruce Street in Texarkana, Texas, Monday through Friday, or mailed to PO Box 712. All donations are requested by Friday, December 12.
