Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor Set to Reopen June 19
Good News! Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor are planning on reopening the "Thrill Capital of Texas" theme park and the largest waterpark in North Texas June 19-21 for a preview phase for Members and Season Holders.
Attendance capacity will be limited during this preview phase, then gradually increase and then open to all visitors on June 22. Six Flags will be operating under some new safety measures and guidelines in accordance with Governor Abbott's guidelines for amusement parks in Texas. New protocols will be in place to help protect employees and guests visiting the park
For example, advanced security screening for touchless bag checks will be required, thermal temperature checks of individuals entering the park. and expanded mobile food ordering. Six Flags is implementing online reservation to help manage attendance, guests will be scheduled by day, and arrival times will be staggered.
Social distancing, sanitization, hygiene protocols are all of the parks reopening plans mission to make it a family-fun safety environment. Please watch this video about the new COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.
