Southern States Rank Low When it Comes to Education [LIST]
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did someone just call us dumb?
I'd like to consider myself a well-educated individual. I went to a small school that I believe gave me an advantage in the classroom when it comes to student-teacher ratios. I earned a merit scholarship and attended Baylor University. Oh, and I can follow IKEA assembly instructions better than most.
I'm smart.
However, according to WalletHub.com, the south doesn't fair well when it comes to education. In fact, southern states predominantly landed at the bottom of their list. Aside from number of degrees, WalletHub looked at several different metrics including the number of adults with a high school diploma, the quality of universities in that state, the gender gap for receiving an education, and more.
