Splashdown in Ashdown! The Splash Pad is Now Open for Summer Fun

Summer officially arrives in June, and what better place to have some fun than at the Splash Pad in the Ashdown City Park? This will be your summer fun destination in Ashdown, Arkansas.

The Splash Pad is now open with fun water sprayers and fountains to keep kids cool and entertained during those long, hot summer days. The Splash Pad opened in 2021, funded by the  Blue and You Foundation, Ashdown Community Foundation, and local donations. Splashdown is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM through September 30.

Inclusive Playround

The Ashdown City Park also has a new playground that opened in 2022, designed for children of all abilities, which includes ramps, swings, and accessible equipment. The playground is made possible by the Blue and You Foundation, Ashdown Community Foundation, and community support.

New Obstacle Course

A brand new ninja-style obstacle course was built for older kids and teens to climb, jump, and stay active. The Ashdown Community Foundation and other local sources have teamed up to bring this exciting new obstacle course to Ashdown City Park. The park also features walking trails, tennis courts, and baseball fields.
