
Texarkana Gears Up for Annual Spring Clean-Up April 11
Texarkana residents are invited to roll up their sleeves and help spruce up the community during the Annual Spring Clean-Up on Saturday, April 11.
Hosted by Keep Texarkana Beautiful in partnership with the City of Texarkana, Texas, the event kicks off at 8 a.m. and brings neighbors together for a morning of hands-on improvement projects across the city.
Texarkana Projects That Need Doing
Volunteers can take part in a variety of efforts, including:
- Picking up litter and debris
- Working in community gardens
- Enhancing parks and green spaces
- General neighborhood clean-up
Several project sites will be set up across Texarkana, along with nearby roll-off containers where residents can dispose of trash and debris.

Roll-off: Beverly Community Center (901 Lumpkin St) - Rosehill Community Garden (1303 Milam St)
Roll-off: The Scholars Center (1303 Milam St) - Grady T. Wallace Park – Liberty-Eylau (3419 Leopard Dr)
Roll-off: Findley Park (410 Findley St) - Highland Park Neighborhood (2401 Hazel St)
Roll-off: Freedom Grace Fellowship (2401 Hazel St) - New Town (2123 Spruce St)
Roll-off: Polly Chapel Church (2123 Spruce St)
What Cannot Be Collected?
Organizers remind residents that certain items, such as batteries, tires, paint, and large appliances, cannot be placed in roll-off containers.
Whether you’re looking to give back, meet neighbors, or just help make Texarkana shine a little brighter, everyone is encouraged to take part.
