One of the most fun things to do in Arkansas is to take a float trip down the Caddo River.

 Float Time in Arkansas

The owners of Caddo River Camping and Canoe Rental located in Glenwood, Arkansas promise you will have the time of your life. The Caddo River is perfect because there are several different levels to experience from a gentle float to a more experienced float depending on how much rain the area receives. The rapids vary along the journey from mild to a more thrilling float along the river with family and friends.

At Caddo River Camping and  Canoe Rental, they have an easy-to-navigate, streamlined operation. If you don't have a tube, no worries, you can rent one along with kayaks, rafts, and canoe rentals.

Parking is $5, and one of three shuttles will take you and drop you off at your desired location. Based on the water level there are several different routes to choose from, floating on a tube will take anywhere from an hour and a half up to four hours. If you select the 7.5-mile Caddo Gap route you'll end up back at your vehicle, on the other routes the shuttle will return you to your vehicle.

Floating with friends and family is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable things you can do. I've personally floated this river before and it was a blast! Besides the beautiful scenery in the Ouachita wooded forest don't be surprised if you see an eagle and other wildlife along the river.
