Tanya Tucker’s 1972 smash “Delta Dawn” captivated millions during “The Voice” Monday night when Team Blake’s Top 11 contestant Barrett Baber sang for America’s vote and a place in the Top 10.
Baber a school teacher from Fayetteville, Ark., chose the country classic song for the singing competition's third week of live performances. It was Baber's rendition of the country music legend's first hit when she was only 13 years old.

“Barrett sure put a modern twist on that ole song and sang the fire out those lyrics! Very impressive. “Delta Dawn” will always hold a special place in my heart and I am grateful that he chose to perform it in front of a whole new audience,” Tucker said.
