Texarkana’s Big Bass Classic Set for May 3 at Wright Patman

There can't be a much better scenario than spending a Saturday morning fishing, catching a big one, and someone hands you money for your efforts! If this sounds like your idea of a good time, then you might want to signup for the 10th Annual Big Bass Classic fishing tournament happening very soon at Lake Wright Patman. Sponsored by Cooper Tires, United Steel Workers and benefitting United Way of Greater Texarkana.

• Tournament Date: Saturday, May 3, 2025
• Where: Wright Patman, Sportsmans Cove
• Entry Fee: $100 per person

What You Can Win:

1st Place = $5000 + a ring from Crocker's Jewelers
2nd Place = $1200
3rd Place = $800
4th Place = $600
5th Place = $400
6th Place = $300

$200 for a fish closest to 2 lbs without going over.
$300 for a fish closest to 3 lbs without going over.
$400 for a fish closest to 4 lbs without going over.
$500 for a fish closest to 5 lbs without going over.

As always there will be lots of raffle prizes as well, almost $20,000 worth. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, you don't have to be in the tournament to buy a raffle ticket, but you must be present to win.
