Texarkana/ Bowie County Master Gardeners Present ‘Beekeeping’ March 12
Texarkana/ Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program on “Beekeeping” on Monday March 12, 2018 at Texas A&M University from 6PM until 8PM.
The Speaker is James Lamb. James and his wife are owners of Southwest Arkansas Beekeeping Supplies in Fulton, Ar. James works for the University of Arkansas Southwest Research and Extension Center in Hope Arkansas. He is a member of Texarkana Beekeepers, Hempstead County Master Gardeners and also currently the President of the Miller County Red Dirt Master Gardeners.
With 8 years experience in Beekeeping, James will be answering questions about becoming a Beekeeper and getting started in Beekeeping. As raising bees is becoming more popular by the day, James will have hands-on material to show how it is an interesting hobby that has tons of benefits.
The class is free and open to the public. The class will take place in the Science and Technology Building, Room 306.
