Farmers Markets, Old Fashioned Field Day, & A Back-to-School Bash in Texarkana This Weekend

Can you believe we are coming up to the last weekend of July? This weekend we found some fun events for kids of all ages. From Farmers Markets,  Back to School Bash, a good old-fashioned Field Day with games and activities, to an acting workshop to build confidence. Check out these four great events this weekend!

Texarkana Farmers Market and Gateway Farmers Markets -Saturday

Texarkana Farmers Market (Texas side). The market is open Saturday from 8 AM to noon at the Downtown US Post Office/Courthouse, 500 N. Stateline Avenue.

Gateway Farmers Market (Arkansas side) opens at 7 AM and goes to noon. Located at 602 East Jefferson in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Texarkana Back to School Bash - Saturday

Get a head start on back-to-school supplies and have a great time doing it. The Texarkana Back to School Bash will be Saturday morning, 9 AM to noon, at Razorback Stadium. ILAR Field Day 2026 & Battle of the Badges - Saturday

Get ready for a free full day of games, activities, and community spirit Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Terry Lee Rogers Recreation Center, located at 1 Legion Drive in Texarkana, Arkansas. Acting Workshop for Adults - Saturday

Do you have the acting ability, but are hesitant to try it? This workshop is for you! It wil be Saturday from 1 PM to 3 PM, led by local theatre director Brandon Shoemaker. This event is for adult who want to overcome their stage fright, build their confidence, and learn the basics of performing in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. it will take place at The Patterson-Troike Performing Arts Studio at TRAHC's ArtSpace located at 518 Pine Street, Texarkana, Texas.
