TexAmericas Center Keeps Top 5 Spot Among Nation’s Industrial Parks

TexAmericas Center has once again been recognized as one of the nation's top industrial parks, retaining the #5 ranking in Business Facilities' 2026 Annual Metro Rankings.

The recognition marks the seventh consecutive year TexAmericas Center has finished among the country's top 10 industrial parks. The rankings evaluate factors including manufacturing activity, transportation and utility infrastructure, available land, and economic impact.

The ranking follows a year of continued growth at the 12,000-acre industrial park in Bowie County near Texarkana, including several major business expansions and infrastructure improvements.

Among the highlights:

• EnergyX completed its more than $20 million lithium processing demonstration plant.
• COIM USA announced plans for a $50 million specialty chemical manufacturing expansion.
• Renew Truck expanded its operations, while Rowe Casa Organics purchased and renovated a 150,000-square-foot facility for its headquarters and manufacturing operations.

TexAmericas Center also continued development of Project Big Pine, a planned 500-acre campus designed for data centers and AI infrastructure. If fully developed, the project could bring an estimated $3.5 billion investment and 120 permanent jobs to the region.

Looking Down The Rails

To support future growth, the center invested $3.15 million in two locomotives to expand rail operations, improving service for existing tenants and supporting nearby Red River Army Depot operations.

Today, TexAmericas Center is home to 44 companies occupying 1.4 million square feet of industrial and commercial space. Those businesses support 1,536 jobs and generated $95.2 million in payroll during 2025. Employment at the center has grown 136% over the past five years.

Officials say the continued recognition reflects the park's strong regional partnerships, expanding infrastructure, and ability to attract new industry to the Texarkana area.
