Kidtastic Fishing Derby hosted by Texarkana, Arkansas Parks and Recreation- Friday

The Kidtastic Fishing Derby is this Friday, July 10, from 9 AM to noon at Lake Diefenbacher in Bobby Ferguson Park at the Fairgrounds located at 3700 E 50th St. in Texarkana, Arkansas.  Kids Helping Kids Lemonade Stand - Friday

Don't miss a good old-fashioned lemonade stand run by kids! Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM. All donations will benefit Fearfully & Wonderfully Made, supporting families in local NICUs. Sponsored by Hospice of Texarkana, located at 2407 Galleria Oaks in Texarkana, Texas.

Texarkana Winds Ensemble Plays Free Concert - Friday

Texarkana Winds Ensemble presents its annual "Celebrating America" Summer Concert Friday, July 11, in downtown Texarkana. This is a free outdoor concert with special guest performer Michael Bell on trumpet, playing a selection of American favorites perfect for a summer evening. Texarkana Farmers Market and Gateway Farmers Markets -Saturday

Texarkana Farmers Market (Texas side). The market is open Saturday from 8 AM to noon at the Downtown US Post Office/Courthouse, 500 N. Stateline Avenue.

Gateway Farmers Market (Arkansas side) opens at 7 AM and goes to noon. Located at 602 East Jefferson in Texarkana, Arkansas.

Kids Glow Dance Party - Saturday

Get your glow on at this fun event on Saturday, 1 PM - 4 PM, at 219 E. Broad St. in downtown Texarkana. Wear white or UV reflective. There will also be face painting, hair glitter, jewelry making and an art table. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
