Officers were dispatched to the Arista Apartment, where two victims advised that they were was approached in the parking lot by three masked black males who were armed with pistols at approximately 11:58 p.m. on Monday night. The men demanded the victims hand over their belongings and were last seen fleeing on foot with the victims’ wallets, cellphones, and a backpack containing a Nintendo gaming system.

Authorities say two more robberies were reported at the Sedona Apartments, approximately twenty minutes later.  The suspects’ descriptions were similar to that in the previous robbery at the Arista Apartments.  The first victim said that he had just gotten into his vehicle and immediately drove off when confronted by the three masked men without giving them anything.  A second victim, who was sitting in his vehicle in the same complex, said that he was approached by three armed masked men who demanded his property.  After taking the victim’s wallet and cell phone, they fled on foot.

At 1:21 a.m., a taxi driver reported that he had stopped his taxi in front of a residence in the 1800 block of West 16th Street when two men exited an older silver SUV and approached his taxi.  One of the men put a gun to his head, while ordering him to get out of the vehicle and lie down on the ground.  After the victim complied, one of the men removed the victim’s wallet containing cash from inside the vehicle.  The men then left in the SUV, which was driven by a third subject, and was last seen headed south on Summerhill Road.  The descriptions of the men were again very similar to those provided in the previous robberies.

Anyone with information about these robberies is asked to contact the Texarkana Texas Police Department at 903-798-3116 or Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
