Texarkana Arkansas Police want to remind you that vehicle theft is a growing concern all across the country, but there are ways to protect yourself and your vehicle.
Did you know that there were 318.7 vehicle thefts per 100,000 people in 2023? According to FBI statistics 2019 to 2023 the top types of vehicles stolen were automobiles at 78.1 percent, followed by trucks at 12.2 percent, and other motor vehicles at 8.0 percent.
Kia and Hyundai vehicles had the highest theft rates in 2023.
Having your car or truck stolen is a nightmare you do not want to experience. Sure you have insurance but the time and heartache of replacing your vehicle is something nobody wants.
