Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Texarkana Symphony Orchestra ensemble mini-concert this Friday, April 22.

The concert will begin at noon in the fourth floor atrium of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus.

The performance is the day before the final concert of the orchestra’s 10th anniversary season, “Beethoven and Brahms,” on Saturday, April 23, and will include a program of classical and pops selections.

“We are thrilled to have an ensemble from the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra on campus to share music from the 10th anniversary season with the students, faculty, staff and A&M-Texarkana community,” said President Emily Cutrer of A&M-Texarkana. “We recognize and value the importance of arts education and are excited to be a part of the orchestra’s community engagement program.”

The mini-concert is free and open to the public.
