Texarkana's Mall Drive Down To One Lane Next 12 Months

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is starting a major construction project on Interstate 30 that will impact traffic near Spring Lake Park. Here's what you need to know:

Traffic Changes:

Concrete Barriers on Mall Drive: Barriers have been placed on Mall Drive in front of Spring Lake Park.
Eastbound I-30 Traffic Diversion: All eastbound traffic on Interstate 30 will be diverted at the Stateline Avenue exit onto Mall Drive.
Bridge Replacement: Contractors will remove and replace the existing I-30 bridge over the KCS train tracks.
Re-entry to Interstate: Traffic will re-enter I-30 at the entrance ramp just before Stateline Avenue.

Traffic Configuration:

Mall Drive Lanes: The left two lanes on Mall Drive will be used for Interstate traffic, while the right lane will be for local Mall Drive traffic.
North Park Road Closure: North Park Road, which travels under the bridge is being demolished and will be closed.
