Whiskey River Country is proud to welcome Texas country artist Josh Ward this Saturday, March 27.

From the Texas oil fields to the rodeo circuit this native Texan is all grit and no quit when it comes to performing on stage. Ward has already amassed nine consecutive #1 hit singles in Texas under his belt that has garnered him staying power. He also is dominant on social media racking up 2 million views on YouTube and over 3 million streams globally on Spotify.

Ward credits Cody Johnson for helping him grow his musical audiences while opening up for some of Johnson's shows. In 2018 his fourth album release More Than I Deserve has 11 tracks featuring the signature instrumentation from guys like John Carroll (Cory Morrow) on guitar, Nate Coon (Aaron Watson) on drums, Milo Deering (The Eagles) on acoustic guitar, steel, dobro, fiddle, viola and mandolin, and Terry McBride (McBride and The Ride) on backing vocals and also a writer of three of the tracks.

The first single “All About Lovin’” written by Brice Long, Terry McBride, and Chris Stapleton, tells you everything you need to know about this album. Other memorable songs from the  album include “A Cowboy Can” and “One More Shot Of Whiskey."  This album represents who Josh Ward is as an artist, straight-up hardcore country, the way it's meant to be.

If you like Cody Johnson you're going to love Josh Ward this Saturday night at Whiskey River Country. Can I buy you a beer?
