This Amazing Tree is The Oldest & Largest Tree in Arkansas, Have You See it?

Once you hear about this tree you are going to want to see it for yourself and you can because it's really just a short hike to see it.
The tree is a Bald Cypress and it is referred to as the Champion Bald Cypress Tree. The Arkansas Forestry Division along with other state forestries catalog and keep track of the biggest trees in their state.
The Arkansas Forestry Division under the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has researched and cataloged the biggest trees in different species all across the state.
But this was is massive! The Champion Bald Cypress is 126 feet tall. The circumference of the tree measures at 523" and the crown's width is 76'.
The other impressive thing about this tree is that it is not only the biggest tree in Arkansas it is the oldest too. This tree is estimated to be between 800 to 1,000 years old but according to monumentaltrees.com it could be much older saying the tree was either planted or germinated naturally around the year 50 BC give or take 300, which could make this tree around 2073 ± 300 years old. What? Either age estimate is still just totally mindblowing!
