Multi-award winning artist and country music hit-maker Travis Tritt is coming to Hempstead Hall in Hope, Arkansas, on Friday, April 6, 2018.  I've always been a huge fan of Travis Tritt ever since the release of his first single, "Country Club." I knew then that his soulful, rockin' country sound was going to be a huge hit and was something needed in the country music format during that time. He was sort cut from the Hank Williams Jr., mold of being that rockin' rebel something country music was lacking at that time.

More than 25 years after Travis Tritt launched his music career, the two-time Grammy award-winning artist and four-time CMA winner continues to sell-out shows and stay true and relevant to Country music fans across the globe. A Marietta, Georgia, native, Travis Tritt is dubbed one of “The Class of ‘89,” which included Country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Alan Jackson, who all dominated the charts in the early ‘90s. Among his eleven studio albums and numerous charted singles are nineteen Top 10 hits, including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter,” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” “Lord Have Mercy on the Working Man,” and “It’s A Great Day To Be Alive.” His 25-year career has produced millions in album sales, two Grammy award wins and multiple No. 1 singles on the Country radio charts. Most recently, Tritt released a special live 2-disc CD and DVD, titled A Man and His Guitar – Live From The Franklin Theatre, which is now available through all major digital retailers.

I was fortunate enough to meet Travis Tritt back in the '90s when he performed a concert at Magic Springs where I was working for US 97 during that time.
