Utah Man Arrested For Cocaine Shipment on 1-40 in Arkansas
Arkansas State Police are on a tear to keep illegal drugs out of the state and they are doing a great job. Last Wednesday, February 5, around 5:30 PM Arkansas State Police (ASP) pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation, but it turned into something much more.
Arkansas Police pulled over a 2025 Audi SUV on Interstate 40, the vehicle was heading east near mile marker 273 in Crittenden County. This was for a routine traffic violation, but things quickly took a more serious turn.
During the stop, troopers decided to search the vehicle, and what they found was far from ordinary. Hidden inside the SUV were five packages with innocent Barblie labels. But the packages didn't have a Barbie inside they had cocaine in them and each packet weighed about a kilogram.

Fortunately, the driver, 32-year-old Daniel Goldfinger from Salt Lake City, Utah, didn’t get the chance to continue his little road trip. Instead, state police arrested him on the spot and he was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center. He’s now facing felony charges for trafficking a controlled substance. This charge could come with some serious prison time.
Goldfinger told investigators he was traveling from Dallas, Texas, and was on his way to Columbus, Ohio. But with this drug bust, his journey ended in Arkansas. Now Goldfinger is in jail waiting to see what comes next for him.
