
Major League Baseball Player Michael Wacha Returns Home For All-Sports Camp in Texarkana
Kansas City Royals Major League Baseball pitcher and Texarkana native Michael Wacha is coming back to his hometown for the Wacha Family and Friends All-Sports Camp on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

This special camp will be held at Pleasant Grove High School from 10 AM to 2 PM. Get ready for a day filled with competition and learning right here in our community.
The Wacha Family and Friends All-Sports Camp is open to youth from 1st Grade to 8th Grade. Experience high-energy skill sessions across five different sports: baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball. Each student must choose two sports during the camp, and lunch will be served to registered attendees.
This inspirational camp will feature local coaches, collegiate and high school athletes, and professional athletes, including MLB pitcher Michael Wacha and additional professional player guests.

The Wacha Family and Friends All-Sports Camp will help support two great organizations Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center, and Scholarships for students attending Texas A&M University–Texarkana. Proceeds from the camp and evening events help expand opportunities for youth across Texarkana.

Sponsor Banquet and Meet-and-Greet With Michael Wacha
Additionally, there will be a Sponsor Banquet and Meet-and-Greet for sponsors of the event. A steak dinner will be provided by Bubba's 33, and a special meet-and-greet with Michael Wacha and other pro athletes. This will be the ultimate fan experience with sports memorabilia available.
