Water Boil Notice For Hooks Has Been Lifted

On February 26, 2021 the Texas commission of environmental quality required the city of Hooks public water system PWS ID 019-0002 City Of hooks and burns red Bank water supply to issue a boil water notice to inform individuals or the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purpose

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of water distributed by this water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has prohibited provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of February 26, 2021 if you have any questions concerning this matter you may contact Andria Whitehurst At City Hall 603 E Ave A Hooks, TX 75561 at 903-547-2105
