Welcome New Texarkana Texas Police Officers to Community
The Texarkana Texas Police Department would like to introduce you to its newest officers.
Three new officers who recently graduated from the police academy are Derrick Bowers, Tanner Tolliver, and Jose Chavez, all three officers were sworn in this morning by Municipal Judge Sherry Jackson and then received their badges from Chief Kevin Schutte. After completing their field training program the officers will work under the daily supervision of a senior officer for the next 15 weeks, then they will be assigned to the Operations Division as patrol officers.
