Winter Weather Closing & Delays – Friday February 19
The winter weather has hit and there is a lot of snow. If you can stay at home PLEASE do! If not please be careful. Here is a list of school and business closings for Friday, February 19.
Obviously, all schools are closed in our area. Be sure to check with your school about virtual classes this week.
Texarkana Arkansas School District All Texarkana Arkansas School District campuses and offices will remain closed for the remainder of the week. Schools and offices will reopen on Monday, February 22. Thursday and Friday will be virtual learning days for students. .
Texarkana Independent School District Classes cancelled for Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19. Classes resume Monday, Feb 22
Classes on both UAHT campuses are closed Wednesday, February 17, Thursday, February 18 and Friday, February 19 due to inclement weather.
Texas A&M Texarkana -cancel classes and close the university on Monday, February 15th. and will switch to online learning for Tuesday through Friday.
Texarkana College Closed Monday thru Friday all classes are virtual this week.
All Collom & Carney Clinic locations are closed today Friday, February 19 due to inclement weather.
The Bowie County Courthouse - Due to hazardous road conditions, the Bowie County Courthouse will remain closed for the rest of this week. It will reopen on Monday.
Texarkana, Arkansas Historic District Commission meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the regular time of 9:30 a.m. due to weather hazards for travel and building closings. The meeting will be in the Board Room of City Hall, 216 Walnut Street, and is open to the public.
