Texaco Country Showdown Winner! [PHOTOS]

The Texaco Country Showdown local finals were held last night at the Four State Fair. What an great night of great local talent!

The finalists were Melissa Wall, Kosmic Girls & Koltrane Band, Maegan Estes, Jake Akin and Victoria Carriger. All of them did a fantastic job! I am so so so glad I didn't have to judge! While we were waiting for the judges scores, we were entertained with a few songs by the talented Aaleliah Dixon!

Our runner up is Melissa Wall from Texarkana and the winner? Victoria Carriger from Missouri! Yes, she drove 7 hours to compete! Victoria will now compete at the state level at the Arkansas State Fair in October. If she wins there, then it's off to the Regional level in Knoxville, Tennessee! The National level will be held in Nashville, Tennessee in January. We wish Victoria the Best of Luck and crossing our fingers she makes it all the way to the top and wins the $100,000 prize!
