The holidays are over and now it might seem like little is going on, but that's not true. Here are a few events to check out next week that will definitely be worth your time. 

Wake Village Police Department holding a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Class:

Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 6PM (held at Wake Village City Hall, Council Chambers) WVPD will present the Civilian Response to Active Shooter class. This class presents options on how to respond if you are ever in an active shooter situation. More details at their Facebook Events page.

Texarkana Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for New Mural:

Wednesday, January 15 from 4:30PM to 5PM join the Chamber as they cut the ribbon for the latest mural in downtown Texarkana located at 100 Pine Street. The mural was painted by Joseph Raymond Fine ART! More details at the events page on Facebook.

Miller County Fair Association Membership Drive:

Thursday, January 16. From 6:30 to 8:30 at Southwest Arkansas Electric Cooperative located at 2904 East 9th Street in Texarkana Arkansas.  This is a great time to connect with friends, 4H Leaders, and Agriculture Teachers.
