New Record? 84 Arrested Last Week – Bowie County Sheriff’s Report

Holy Motherload Texarkana, Bowie County went from first to worse this past week and we can prove it. The week before (February 19 - 25) may have been a record low since we've been reporting the arrests here with only 20 for the whole week. But last week, we may have broken a record going the other way. The total number of arrests last week in Bowie County amounted to 84. Bowie County Deputies brought in 33 of those, another 51 were brought in by other law enforcement agencies and turned over to Bowie County. We knew it was too good to last, we just didn't want to admit it.
