Arkansas State Police Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Texarkana
On Tuesday, March 26 at around 1 PM there was a Texarkana officer involved in a shooting. Today, (Thursday, March 28) it was announced that the Arkansas State Police are investigating the incident.
According to a press release, on Tuesday, March 26, the Texarkana Texas Police Department had one of their officers go with the Texas Department of Public Safety to serve a federal warrant for 27-year-old Henry Milligan on charges relating to narcotics.
During the arrest in a parking lot off Nash Thompson Lane in Texarkana Arkansas Milligan was shot in the abdomen by an officer with the TTPD. Milligan was brought to a hospital in Texarkana for treatment and is now in stable condition.

According to the press release from the Arkansas State Police,
An investigative case file will be presented to the prosecuting attorney, who will determine whether the use of deadly force was consistent with Arkansas law.
