Arkansas State Police (ASP) are good at many things, but one thing they seem to be really good at lately is busting drug traffickers on Interstate 40 coming through the Great State of Arkansas. Last Thursday, October 3, another 136 pounds of illegal marijuana was seized during a traffic stop near Little Rock.

Arkansas State Troopers made a significant drug bust during a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Pulaski County last week.

Situation:

On Thursday, October 3, 2024, at approximately 9:38 p.m., troopers pulled over a rented black 2024 Chrysler Pacifica for a traffic violation near the 159-mile marker on I-40 Eastbound. During the stop, troopers conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered five large trash bags in the back, containing roughly 136 pounds of marijuana. The marijuana was packaged in individual vacuum-sealed bags.
