We just found out that right now is the peak season in Arkansas to see all the beautiful breathtaking colors of fall If you haven't taken a scenic drive yet, no worries because now is the time to do it. Here is a list of some great scenic drives to take this weekend.
It's an Easy Day Trip

According to today's Fall Color Report from the Arkansas Tourism Department says;
Peak color has arrived in Arkansas. A short drive down I-30 in central Arkansas shows a kaleidoscope of colors - but pay attention to the road! It's easy to get distracted by the bright reds and yellows of fall. The forecast around the state looks promising for leaf-peeping this weekend.
Below we have listed all the great drives to take all over the state of Arkansas. There is a beautiful afternoon drive near you.
Best Scenic Drives in Arkansas
Plan a drive in mid to late October head up to the Ozarks and up to northern Arkansas. You can drive beautiful scenic routes there up to Crowley's Ridge, Great River Road.
In November, you'll need to head up to Ouachita State Park.
More Great Routes to See the Fall Colors
There are quite a few scenic routes to drive where you can see all the fall colors including the Scenic 7 Byway. This one is the easiest for us in our area to drive. It runs from Harrison, Russellville, Hot Springs, Arkadelphia and on through El Dorado to the border with Louisiana. So it's super easy to catch for a day trip at Arkadelphia and drive north.
