Beautiful ‘Butterflies in The Garden’ Exhibit at This Texas Attraction

If you love spring and summer, then you probably also love to see all the beautiful butterflies fluttering around during the warmer months. Now you can see the amazing sight of the Butterflies in The Garden exhibit at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

The exhibit Butterflies in The Garden is located in the Rainforest Conservatory at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

This is your chance to see the largest exhibit of live, exotic butterflies in North Central Texas. According to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden's website,

Exhibit visitors will have the chance to see a diverse collection of butterflies from various parts of the world, including Central, North and South America, Africa, and Asia. The Blue Morpho (Morpho peleides), known for its striking beauty, is one of the most popular butterflies on display.

Since their lifespan is not very long, Joyce Block the Conservatory Curator said they have between 800 to 1,000 butterflies released daily. Did you know, if you touch a butterfly's wings it can potentially shorten their life? Don't touch their wings unless necessary.

The Butterflies in The Garden exhibit is going on now through April 14, 2024. You can see the exhibit Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Tickets are sold by timed entrance, available every thirty minutes to limit the amount of people walking in the Rainforest Conservatory.

You can get your tickets at fwbg.org/butterflies, tickets to the exhibit are separate from general admission tickets to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
