Raising Cane’s is launching its second annual national partnership with Lemonade Day, a nonprofit organization that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own
business.
According to the press release, Raising Cane’s Founder and CEO Todd Graves helped bring Lemonade Day to Louisiana in 2011. Since then, Raising Cane’s restaurants across the state have been actively involved in supporting and promoting the organization. Last year, Raising Cane’s restaurants across the country joined the effort, resulting in a company-wide donation of more than $75,000 to the organization. Once again this year, all of Raising Cane’s U.S. locations - more than 400 restaurants in 25 states – including our location at 2505 Richmond Rd in Texarkana, will be stirring up success by participating in a nationwide fundraiser for Lemonade Day.

On Wednesday, March 20, Raising Cane’s restaurants will donate $1 to the organization for every lemonade purchased from open to close on the fundraising day.
“We are extremely proud to be the exclusive Lemonade Day National Partner,” Graves
said. “I began my entrepreneurial journey as a child when I ran a lemonade stand in my
front yard. I’m so passionate about the Lemonade Day Program because it introduces
thousands of kids to business each year in much the same way. Who knows how many of these budding entrepreneurs will become the business leaders of our future?”

Lemonade Day is a free program that has served over one million children across North
America in the past decade. In addition to participating in the fundraiser on March 20,
Raising Cane’s customers can register a child to participate in the Lemonade Day
Program and give them a taste of the sweet success that comes with owning their own
business.

“We are so grateful to Todd and his entire team for their unwavering commitment to our
program,” said Lemonade Day President Steven Gordon. “They go above and beyond
every year to support Lemonade Day and kids across the country.”
