KKYR’s Jim & Lisa Nominated for Arkansas DJ’s of the Year… Again!
Okay, I feel bad about this, but is this our fourth or fifth nomination? That is not a "humble-brag;" I really can't remember. Lisa and I are pretty sure this is our fifth nomination, but we were both scratching our heads a couple of weeks ago when the Arkansas Country Music Awards nominations were released, and our names reappeared.
You may recall that the last time we were nominated for this prestigious award in 2023 (our fourth nom), we won it! Nobody was more shocked than we were, as they had us pitted against some terrific country radio talent in the Great State of Arkansas.
When Lisa and I received the news the other day that we had been nominated again, we thought out loud, on the radio, "Wouldn't it be nice to take home the trophies (above) again?"

We Need Your Help!
We can't do it alone, this is where you can help us win.
The judging for the Arkansas Country Music Awards is ultimately decided by a panel of Arkansas country music insiders, which include writers, producers, musicians, folks like that. But one of the judges is you, our listeners right here in the Ark-La-Tex. Your vote can help put us over the top again to bring home those beautiful trophies.
When To Vote:
According to the Arkansas Country Music Facebook Page, the online voting runs for two weeks, starting March 1 through 14.
When the voting opens, you will have to click on the link below, go to the site, register your name and email address, then scroll down to our category and vote. If you are familiar with Arkansas country music artists, musicians, venues, and such, please vote for them as well. You can vote for as many or as few categories as you wish.
Where To Vote:
Again, voting opens this Saturday, March 1, and runs through Friday, March 14.

We thank you in advance for your help and your listenership; without you, there is no Jim & Lisa Show.
