Learn About Spring Vegetable Gardens at This Free Seminar March 13
Calling all gardeners! It's time to start thinking about planting your spring vegetables in the garden. But which veggies do best in our area and when is the best time to plant them?
You can find out that and more on Monday, March 13 as the Texas A&M University-Texarkana department of Extended Education along with the Community Development (EECD) team up for the Master Gardener Seminar titled “Spring Vegetables”.
The class is free and will take place at the University Center Room #326 from 6PM to 8PM.
The class is also in conjunction with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and the Bowie County Master Gardeners and it's open to the public.
The class will be led by Bowie County Extension Agent Dr. Bryan Triplett. After a cold winter gardeners are ready to start their gardens. Vegetable gardens can be confusing to know which vegetables need to be planted at certain times. Have all your questions answered by the pros for the perfect spring garden this year.
You can get more information about the entire 2023 Master Gardener Seminar Series by calling the Bowie County Extension Office at (903) 628-6702 or Emily Newsome the A&M-Texarkana EECD Coordinator, at (903) 223-3039.
