According to a press release, The CJ Kidfest is brought to you by The Miller-Bowie Hometown Health Coalition, in partnership with Be Like CJ Foundation. The festival was created by his parents who started the CJ Foundation to honor their son CJ Harris (Cedrick Harris Jr.) who was an eighth-grade student before he was tragically killed in an ATV accident on April 4, 2021.

What better way to honor his life and his parents' new mission of spreading education and kindness, than to have this day May 18 set aside for the community to enjoy? This event promises to be a celebration of creativity, learning, and community spirit. They believe that children are the future, and this festival aims to nurture their talents, inspire their imaginations, and create lasting memories for years to come.

Be Like CJ Kidsfest is scheduled from 10 AM to 6 PM and will feature Touch-a-Truck, Food Trucks, Fun  Interactive Games, Face Painting, Contests, and Prizes.

LOOK: Cool Car Features We Kind of Miss

Kids these days don't know what they're missing out on! But hey, let's be real, some of those old car features were pretty awesome. Yeah, they might've been a bit risky and even tried to kill us, but they made our rides feel way cooler.
