If you grew up listening to 70s Country then you're going to love the throwback sound of Mike and The Moonpies appearing this Friday night at Scottie's Grill.

There seems to be movement in country music these days to bring back the outlaw  traditional sound of the 70s. With artists like Midland rising on the country charts, there is plenty of room for more bands to follow in that vein. Similar to Midland, which by the way happens to be from from Dripping Springs, Texas, the band Mike and The Moonpies are from the red dirt capital of Texas, Austin. These guys play on a regular basis at the famed White Horse in Austin and now they are branching out all over Texas and beyond and catching on like wildfire. Their honky-tonk beer drinkin' flag wavin' God fearin' fans are turning out in droves to watch these guys bring back a lost art in country music today.

With two albums already under their belt Mike and The Moonpies is getting ready to release their new album Steak Night at The Prarie Rose due out in 2018.

Don't miss this exciting show from Mike and The Moonpies, direct from Austin live at Scottie's Grill Friday, Sept. 29. Get your tickets here.
