Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Spring Lake Park Texarkana April 28
The Texarkana Parks and Recreation Department invites the community out for a ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow at 11:30 AM at Spring Lake Park.
Spring Lake Park will be officially celebrating the Spring Lake Park Walk Through History Trail and new bridges. The ceremony will be held at the South end of the Park, off of Lynn Street, 4303 N. Park Road. Texarkana families have been coming to this park for decades for walking, biking, baseball, fishing, playing, or just to have a family picnic. These new additions and upgrades will continue to make the park one of the best in the area where families can come and enjoy it for a lifetime.
The park is well-known for having several events throughout the year such as the upcoming 6th Annual Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival this Saturday, May 1. The wine festival helps support our local Alzheimer's Alliance. There will be wine tastings, food tastings, live music, arts, crafts, and more. Click here for more information.
Then next Saturday, May 8, from 8-3 PM get ready for the annual Community-wide Yard Sale and Electronics Recycling event from 10-1 PM.
