Rotary Splash Pad Closed For Repairs Today and Tomorrow

The Rotary Splash Pad will be closed for maintenance today and tomorrow for repairs. It will re-open at 9AM on Wednesday.

The Splash Pad is a zero-depth water playground built in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Texarkana and the City of Texarkana, Texas Parks, and Recreation Department. The International Rotary Club, The Sunrise Rotary Club, the Oaklawn Rotary Club and the Wilbur Smith Rotary Club.

One of the highlights the kids love is the tall pelican that dumps water on the kids heads whenever its beak fills up releasing water on top of them below in the splash pad play area.

Summer is just beginning and their is no doubt this is going to be a long hot summer, what better fun than letting the kids cool off at the Splash Pad at Spring Lake Park. There are plenty of benches and some covered areas where you can watch the kids have some summer fun. Heck, be a kid and jump in and cool off yourself too.
