As most of you know the Salvation Army provides Emergency services and during this challenging time, they have gotten a lot of requests for food. So, the Salvation Army has made the decision to open a "Neighbor to Neighbor" Drive-Thru donation distribution center Friday, April, 17.

The center will be located at the Salvation Army Family Store at 420 Walton Drive. The center will open this Friday and stay open as long as they receive community support and the need for food boxes remain strong.  Those in need of food boxes will register by calling 870-774-2701.  A minimal amount of information will be needed from the person requesting a food box.  Date and time will then be assigned to pick up your food box.

Upon arrival at the distribution location, the person receiving the food box will provide them with a claim number they received when they registered.  Recipients will not be allowed to leave their vehicles. They will have someone there to load your food box into your vehicle's trunk or truck bed. Expect long lines of traffic interfering with the traffic flow on Walton Drive when the food is distributed.

The Salvation Army believes this will be a safe and effective way to support those in need while being responsible to the community.

Donated food items can be dropped off Monday - Saturday from 9AM - 6PM.

The Salvation Army is solely relying on the support of the community, to keep the food distribution going through your donations. Please keep in mind that the Salvation Army Family Store still remains closed until further notice. The building is only being used for the food box program.
