TAPD Arrests Jayden Arnold in Connection to 2024 Homicide

The Texarkana Arkansas Police announced they have made a second arrest in the homicide that took place on February 12, 2024.

Police were called to the 800 block of Ash Street on the morning of February 12 last year, around 10 AM. This is where they found the body of Pedro M. Triana Sr., deceased in his home. Within a few days, they were able to arrest DaCorey Moss in the alleged murder of Triana. Moss is still in custody and charged with murder.

Second Arrest in The February 12, 2024, Texarkana Homicide

After more investigation, police were able to make another arrest in the case last week on Wednesday, April 16. They were able to do so after using advanced forensic technology. Detectives were able to retrieve DNA evidence and it was submitted on April 14. The notification of a match didn't take long with the CODIS database, which linked 18-year-old Jayden Arnold to the case. Police were able to locate and arrest Arnold on April 16.
