Texarkana College Student Injured from Accidental Handgun Discharge Wednesday

A Texarkana College Student was injured Wednesday from an accidental discharge of his handgun.

Texarkana College in Texarkana, Texas reports that a  31-year old student was injured Wednesday, March 4, 2020, on the TC campus after a gun he was in possession of accidentally discharged. The student was transported in a private vehicle to a local hospital where he was treated for a wound to his hand and released with minor injuries.

Texarkana College’s Chief of Police Stephen Gass said the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
