With this weekend being the weekend before Halloween, there is plenty to do! Here is a list of events going on this weekend in the Texarkana area and beyond!

TxDOT Street Teams Highlight Pedestrian Safety in Texarkana -Friday

Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM, TxDOT will be downtown Texarkana between W. 4th Street and Front Street as team members will be "walking billboards" displaying safety tips for drivers and pedestrians. The TxDOT campaign will focus on locations with heavy foot traffic and where pedestrian crashes have occurred.

Commander's Cup Invitational Golf Tournament - Friday

There is still time to enter the tournament, and registration is open up to the day of the event. It all takes place at Northridge Country Club, located at 120 Bill Rogers Dr. in Texarkana, Texas. Cash payouts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
