This Texarkana K-9 Officer Receivces His Very Own Bullet Proof Vest
It's important for police officers to have protective gear but there is very important part of the police force doesn't always get the protection that they need, but that is changing across the country. Texarkana Texas Police just announced that their K9 Thor just received his very own bullet and stab protective vest.
Texarkana Texas Police posted on their Facebook page about Thor and his new vest. The vest came about for Thor by a charitable donation from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. These important vests are not cheap and the generosity of others make it possible to acquire these protective vests. K9 Thor’s vest was sponsored by Nancy Graves of Texarkana, TX. It's beautifully embroidered with “Born to Love-Trained to Serve-Loyal Always”.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is such a great organization that has been providing custom-made bullet and stab prevention vests since 2009. It is a 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the United States.
