Robin Hilton - TISD Secondary Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Robin Hilton, TISD's Secondary Teacher of the Year. Robin is an 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher at Texas Middle School and has been in the field of education for 29 years. Ms Hilton has dedicated her life to teaching and fostering the love of lifelong learning in her students. Ms Hilton’s teaching style is to teach the child, not the subject, in an effort to make classroom learning fun and personal.
Tara Droske - Elementary Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to Tara Droske, the TISD Elementary Teacher of the Year. Ms Droske has 12 years in education and serves as a Kindergarten Teacher at Morriss Elementary School. Ms Droske believes that a strong teacher is constantly learning, changing, growing, collaborating, engaging their students, building relationships and growing leaders. Ms Droske considers herself a lifelong learner and is always willing to share her knowledge and experience with others.
