Harvest Set to Do Another New Boston Distribution on Wednesday, September 30
Harvest Regional Food Bank is headed back to New Boston next week distributing food boxes to area residents on Wednesday, September 30th.
The food box distribution will begin at 9 a.m. at T&P Trail Head Park Pavilion located at 200 S Ellis St in New Boston. The distribution will last until approximately 12:00 noon or until all boxes have been distributed.
Recipients are directed to enter the Park Grounds Entrance from the S.E Front Street.
With CDC precautions and recommendations against the Coronavirus still in place, Harvest is taking every measure to ensure the safety of its staff, volunteers, and recipients. Mobile pantries are now operating as "drive-thru" distributions, with food boxes being loaded directly into vehicles. Recipients will not be allowed to exit the vehicle or park to pick up food.
More information about the New Boston event is on Facebook.
Harvest is, as always, helping many families in the Ark-La-Tex and that's why we need to keep the help coming right back to them in the way of cash donations. Townsquare Media has been helping with a Virtual Food Drive all this month and we can't thank you enough for all you have done both in volunteer time and monetary donations to Harvest Regional Food Bank.
The month isn't over, the pandemic isn't over and the need for cash isn't over either. If you can help Harvest feed families, please do. Here's the link.
