They also found that over half of Americans, 67% are looking forward to the side dishes more than the turkey.

Mashed Potatoes were the favorite in 19 states making it the most favorite side dish this Thanksgiving. Last year it came in at second place.
Louisiana's Favorite Side Dish?
Mac & Cheese
Only 4 states, including Louisana, chose Mac and Cheese as their favorite side dish. But it made the list this year.
Arkansas' Favorite Thanksgiving Side Dish This Year is...

9 states said their favorite Thanksgiving side dish was Stuffing or Dressing. Last year, it was number 1.
