There is still plenty of summer left to enjoy family fun. If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids, Magic Springs Theme and Water Park in Hot Springs just announced all their special family-friendly events for the month of July.

The list of events that are weekly are Mermaid Mondays, Dive-In Movies, Cooler Sundays. Then there are the outdoor concerts.

Mermaid Mondays start on July 12 and will run through July 26 from 1PM-2PM and then again from 4PM-5PM.  If your child loves mermaids then you don't want to miss one of Magic Springs magical mermaids come out to the Wave Pool and read to the kids.

Cool Off with Dive-In Movies

Then get ready for the Dive-In Movies on  Fridays with the movies starting at sunset. Watch a movie from your pool chair or an inner tube in the Wave Pool. Now, that's the way to cool down.

Load up a Cooler with Snacks & Save on Sundays

Sundays are a great savings for the family with Cooler Sundays: Each Sunday, now through September 5 you can bring a cooler in with all your family's favorites.  There's no limit on how much food or drink that guests can bring, as long as they can pack it in their cooler. No alcoholic beverages or glass are allowed in the park.

To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns.
