September 11, 2001, if you're old enough to remember, then the 9/11 attack on America will never be something you can unsee or forget. But since this event happened 25 years ago this September, there is now a whole generation that has little or no knowledge of what happened that day in New York City, Washington D.C., and Shanksville, PA. The "Steel Across America" tour should help fix some of that.

What's In That Truck?

The good folks at Ledwell here in Texarkana crafted this fantastic display on wheels so anyone who wants to see what it carries can get up close and personal. From what I hear, it's a pretty moving experience.

That 10-wheel box truck is carrying a 16,900-pound steel beam from the collapsed twin towers in New York City.

As you can see in the photo above, the sides open up so anyone can get a good look at the destruction that fell upon Manhattan 25 years ago this September.

Coming Back Home To Texarkana, Texas/Arkansas!

The steel beam is from the World Trade Center in New York, but the truck was customized for this purpose by Ledwell here in Texarkana, and it's coming back to T-town on June 3, to spend a few hours in front of the downtown Federal Building/ Post Office. We hope to see a great turnout for this event. Bring the young ones; they need to know.
