Texas singer/songwriter Cory Morrow is coming to Texarkana to perform at Scottie's Grill this Saturday Sept. 10, 2016 at 9PM.

Morrow has been playing the honky-tonk bars and festivals for almost two decades around the state of Texas. His current album The Good Fight was released June 16, 2015 and is comprised of a 15 song collection that was recorded at East Austin 12th Street Sound and produced at the Zone Recording Studio in nearby Dripping Springs. Texas. Love that name.

"When looking back on my other albums, I felt as though I settled but on this album I didn't want to. On this album many of the songs address faith and relationships, both human and holy, with urgency, gratitude," said Morrow.

Morrow, who was born in Houston, started learning to play a guitar when he was 15-years old on an instrument his stepfather won in a coin toss in a Mexican border town, according to CMT. Growing up, he loved ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin but his love for country began when he started attending college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He really started getting into the Texas red dirt country music scene thanks to Ray Wylie Hubbard and Robert Earl Keen, two musicians he was influenced by. Eventually, he became friends with another Texas artist singer/songwriter, Pat Green and the rest is history. Morrow was hooked.

One things is for certain, when Cory Morrow hits the stage, get ready for a rowdy, feel-good Texas party.

Here Morrow's latest single "Breaking Me Out."
