Enjoy learning about all the beauty and heritage of the people that settled in the Ouachita Mountains in the early 1800s. The festival's mission, according to its Facebook page is;

"seeking to preserve and promote the old time skills, crafts, and lifestyle of the Ouachita Mountain settlers in southwest Arkansas from the early 1800’s up until the 1940’s."

There will be demonstrations of the lifestyles and careers including blacksmithing, wool spinning, quilting, old farming skills and a Civil War reenactment.

You'll also see antique tractors, engines and cars. This festival is perfect for the whole family and it will start at 9 AM Saturday and will go on until 4 PM
